From the recording Along for the Ride
In 2022 Jupiter was at its closest point to Planet Earth since 1963. After the moon it was the brightest object in the night sky. Janet was floating in the pool at night and later wrote a poem based on her observations. Jeff read the poem and wrote the music to complete the tune.

Lyrics
Floating with Jupiter
on the back of the moon
stars shimmer around me
I fall into the sky.
I’m floating, I’m floating on the back of the moon
Floating with Jupiter
a starfish let go
Aurora Borealis
kindles my bones.
I’m floating, I’m floating on the back of the moon
The night sky bends.
Ancient and burnished
While night angels flutter
their tiny grey wings
Floating with Jupiter
I reach in the night
She smiles and dissolves into
a thousand bright lights
I’m floating, I’m floating on the back of the moon
