From the recording Imperfection - The Album
Many people have remained silent in the face of injustice and feel reluctant to speak out and take action. However, if we don't act, it may be too late. In the past our songs that have had elements of social commentary tended to be lighthearted and tongue in cheek. This is not one of those. During these times of movements such as #MeToo and #BlackLivesMatter this song is relevant.

Silence paves the way to another bad day
Sirens howl their way down your motorways
And the tyrants shake their heads looking your way
You say it’s too soon
Another day, the drugged, the dreary unfeeling
Wind their way in the corridors where paint is peeling
They no longer smell the decay, or see the mouldy ceilings
It’s too soon
It’s too soon
It’s too soon
Until it’s too late
Injured, the lesions don’t heal they stay open
Stumbling, the walking wounded march on
In the direction taken by those who surrender
They said it’s too soon
Can you wake up, can you make the connection
Between what you see, what you feel and the oppression
And your silence, the tacit compliant acceptance
It’s too soon
It’s too soon
It’s too soon
Until it’s too late
BREAK
I want to cry out and shout the words unexpected
I need to lash out before being bound and rejected
I have to break out from my own incarceration
Before it’s too late
Stand down, afraid to draw attention
With the mask on, the one that hides dejection
Another year gone and left no negative impression
It’s too late
It’s too late
It’s too late
Unless we do it soon
